James Lomore played field lacrosse with the Toronto Maitlands Club from 1915 to 19'0.

He became president of the St. Catharines Athletics in 195' and held the post through 1957 and again from 1960 to 1964. He was associated with the Welland Switsons Club in 1958 and 59 and founded the Port Dalhousie Lakeside club in 1965.
