Newman scored 4' or more goals in five consecutive seasons before World War II interrupted his career. He played 198 games between 19'5 and 1945, scoring '04 goals and 10' assists for 407 pointsbetter than a two point per game average. In 1940, he won the Maitland Trophy for combining outstanding play, sportsmanship, and contributing to minor lacrosse. |
